1. You always think you are bigger than you actually are. I remember when I was 14, 16, 18 weeks pregnant and I thought everyone could tell I was pregnant. What was I was thinking? I was tiny.... I realize now at almost 33 weeks that yes I am big but oh boy do I have room to grow!
2. People like to touch your belly. Instead of people reaching out to give me a big hug their hands reach out right for my belly. It's pretty funny cause I don't really mind but some people just can't resist not to touch it :)
3. People stare but don't ask. This must be an Arizona thing but people just stare at me ( I guess my belly) when I go places but don't talk to me about my pregnancy. I don't know if they aren't sure if I am pregnant or just fat but come on...it's pretty obvious! Someone told me that their professor at BYU said " Never ask a woman if she's pregnant until you see the baby coming out of her" haha
4. Gas bubbles and butterflies? When I 1st got pregnant that's what a lot of books describe how it feels to have your baby inside of you....That's not what it feels like to have a baby inside of me. It's like having a twitch that doesn't go away.
5. Emotions. I have never felt so many emotions at once. Fear to be a mom, happy to be a mom. Wanting my baby here, not wanting my baby to come yet. Feeling beautiful being pregnant, feeling nasty and huge. ALL OF THESE at the same time. Poor Cory....I've laughed and then started crying at the same time.
6. Skin changes. This one is probably more specific to me but hello... I have sensitive skin while pregnant. Like a rash that lasted for 5 weeks covering most of my body from detergent?! And then I got my skin tested so they cut a piece out of my side and don't worry I still have the bandage marks on my skin. This is good to remember for future pregnancies :)
7. You can get away with a lot. haha Being Pregnant gives you a free pass to do things you wouldn't normally do. If you wanna sleep in a little longer, it's fine! You need to get your sleep before your baby comes. If you need a nap, it's totally okay because you are working hard making a baby. If you want 5 cinnamon rolls, go ahead! You're pregnant and will nurse it off later. People really tell me these things haha
8. Closet shrinks. Out of my entire closet, I am down to like 6 shirts and I am tired of not being fashionable or being able to go shopping for cute clothes. So if you see me wearing the same shirts each week.. don't judge me :)
Is there anything you would add?!

It's totally okay & kind of expected to be tired. all. the. time.
Watching your baby move from the outside is really cool & really creepy all at once!
Everything can be blamed on being pregnant. Hungry, gassy, sick, tired, lazy, sad, moody, angry, emotional, etc.
I can't believe how close you are! So exciting!!! I have some shirts I can lend you if you're interested! Take full advantage of these last weeks of just you and Cory :) life really is so wonderful with a new baby!!!
So exciting! I love all your comments. I will have to read them again someday before I have a kid! You are going to be an awesome mom!
I would just like to add that this little guy is lucky to have parents who are 2 of my favorite people. And also confess that I am definitely a belly toucher. Only with you- because I know you love me and don't care ;) He is going to be so cute and I can't wait for him to meet his Uncle Paul and Aunt Mal!
